Blog: Digital Brand Refresh – The Launch of a Dynamic, New Abzena.com

We are pleased to share with our customers that our new, brand refreshed, website is live. Here is a brief overview of some differences that you’ll find as you navigate our new website…

At first glance, we’ve given our website a fresh, modern look that’s in line with our overall brand refresh and our mission as an organization to ‘Move Medicine Forward’. Beyond that and in keeping with our moving forward theme, our website now offers a faster and more mobile-friendly customer experience.

As an organization, we are focused on moving our customers development programs forward collaboratively, with agility. When approaching our refreshed concepts for our brand, we wanted to incorporate that sense of movement and agility within the design elements as well. Across all of our print and digital assets, we created movement using the dot and slash of our logo mark to show continued motion to align with our mission and demonstrate continuity throughout each of the brand elements.

Throughout the process of updating our website we have paid close attention to delivering the content that our customers are looking for, an example being our resources, and improved the ability to access that information faster. We also paid close attention to improving previous features that impacted page speed.

Over the course of the year, we gathered insights from our colleagues and customers to create new content that clearly explains our array of biologics services and proprietary solutions which includes our newly enhanced cell line development platform, AbZelectPRO™.

In our blog for example, you’ll find new content on specific topics ranging from expert insight in drug development to frequently asked questions about specific capabilities, and more. Also, for those actively looking to join Abzena at an exciting time in our journey, you’ll find careers- and location-related content in our blog alongside a redesigned careers page featuring new colleague spotlights.

Additionally, what you can’t see is an updated content management system for our website. This offers us new technical features that enhance our digital experience. This new engine enables us to deliver the content that our customers are looking for in a more accessible manner.

In the interests of making our website more inclusive for all, we’ve made some essential design and technical improvements based on a greater attention toward accessibility.

The concept of website accessibility (the ‘ability to access’), means that websites and related tools or technologies are designed and developed so that people with disabilities can perceive, understand, navigate, and interact with them. When combined, these attributes deliver a more diverse and inclusive web experience.

We understand that5 technology and accessibility needs will continue to move forwards, much like our mission. We will continue to keep up with those developments.
