Incucyte User Group Meeting 2025: Utilizing Live Cell Imaging for Better Lead Selection of Biologics and Bioconjugates

Abzena’s Sr. Director of Bioassay, Erika Kovacs, presented on behalf of our Cambridge bioassay team at the UK Incucyte® User Group Meeting 2025 on “Utilizing Live Cell Imaging for Better Lead Selection of Biologics & Bioconjugates,” which was hosted on Wednesday, September 17, 2025 in Cambridge, UK.

Her presentation walked through three in-depth case studies:
1. Assessing the Functionality and Safety of Bispecifics
2. Modelling Complex Cell Environments In vitro for ADC Lead Selection
3. Assessment of Payload and Immune-Mediated Killing in a Single Assay

These case studies examined how live cell imaging could be leveraged to capture the fundamental characteristics of successful drug design and enhance the likelihood of obtaining a successful lead bispecific or ADC to progress onward toward the clinic.
