Uday Hardikar

Site Head and Senior Vice President, Bristol Operations

Uday Hardikar is an accomplished operations executive with 30+ years of global leadership experience across biopharmaceuticals, medical devices and advanced manufacturing industries. He brings a strong track record of transforming operations, scaling complex organizations, and driving enterprise-wide performance improvement in highly regulated environments.

Prior to his current role, Uday served as EVP of Operations, Engineering & Innovation at Comar, a leading medical device CDMO, where he led multi-site operations, capital strategy, and innovation initiatives to support growth and customer delivery. Earlier in his career, he held senior leadership roles at organizations including B. Braun Medical and Bristol-Myers Squibb, building deep expertise across large-scale and specialized manufacturing platforms.

Uday’s core strengths include operational excellence, global supply chain and manufacturing strategy, capital investments, capacity expansion, and portfolio/program management. He has successfully led large-scale transformations, post-acquisition integrations, and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance EBITDA performance, reduce cost of poor quality, and improve service levels.

Known for his collaborative leadership style, Uday partners closely with executive teams and investors to implement governance, build high-performing teams, and deliver sustainable growth.

Uday holds a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from University of Pune, India and a Master’s in Management & Engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cambridge, MA.
