John Gill is Abzena’s Scientific Leader and Vice President of Cell Line Development (CLD). John has over 30 years of experience in the biopharmaceutical industry. He brings a wealth of scientific expertise, having previously worked at Gilead Sciences and Samsung Biologics.

John has specialized knowledge in GMP-ready cell line development, cell banking, and upstream CDMO tech transfer. John has spent his career helping CMC teams understand how an integrated CLD-to-GMP approach can deliver better program decisions – from clone selection and platform fit, through to GMP readiness.
