Information on Abzena’s Response to COVID-19

The COVID-19 pandemic is a global public health issue of concern to all. I want to update you on our detailed efforts to ensure the health and well-being of our employees, as well as our business continuity plan for our partner clients at our three sites in the US and UK.

While we continue to monitor this daily for any new events; the following is our guidance for the next 30 days:

  • We have initiated a self-monitoring and reporting program for our employees, visitors, suppliers, and contractors, along with specific procedures in place for self- quarantine of employees who are unwell, exposed to or test positive for COVID-19
  • Staff, who are able to, will start working from home
  • We have suspended attendance at conferences and large group events
  • Staff at our sites have been advised to use good hand hygiene and social distancing
  • We have stopped all business travel and are using virtual meeting technology internally and with our customers
  • Staff are being advised to avoid mass public transport (i.e., airplanes, trains, etc.). If they must travel, then we have initiated a self-quarantine for 14 days upon return
  • Enhanced cleaning procedures and practices are in place with full site disinfection on demand when required
  • Daily senior and site management meetings to disseminate any new information or a change in course of action at project or site level

Service delivery

  • Abzena continues to ensure an uninterrupted service to our partner clients. At this point, we do not see issues in meeting any of our commitments
  • We are monitoring our raw material inventories and determining if any measures need to be taken to mitigate interruption
  • We do not know the extent to which COVID-19 will continue to spread and impact society or business, but we will ensure rapid communication with all partner clients should events change together with any changes to mitigation plans
