C1q Binding Assays | Abzena

C1q Binding

C1q is the first component of the classical complement pathway. IgG1, IgG2, IgG3 and IgMs are capable of fixing complement and initiating the classical pathway, however, activation of the complement cascade is strictly controlled and only occurs when the antibody is bound to its antigen.

Our C1q ELISA measures the binding of purified human C1q to antibodies or ADCs directly coated on a plate.
